Our Story

The Global Leader in Solid Chemistry for Water Treatment

If you’re using solids, you are most likely using AP Tech solids. If you’re still using liquids, now is the time to consider making the switch — you can get the same water treatment results without shipping water or handling hazardous chemical drums.

AP Tech is the global leader of solid chemistry technology and equipment for water treatment. AP Tech programs are proven to provide safe, green, effective, and efficient alternatives to the hazardous liquid chemistry commonly used for treating water in cooling towers, boilers and closed-loop systems. Solids are available across a complete line of proven water treatment products designed to manage most types of raw water components, such as varying ranges of hardness, pH, and alkalinity.

In most cases, solid chemistry for water treatment is the same chemistry used in liquids. The only difference is that we’re not shipping water or putting people at risk by moving dangerous liquid solutions in 30- or 55-gallon drums around worksites, universities, lodging and other locations. Across the globe, solids provide an effective alternative for treating water where shipping, storage, and handling constraints of liquid chemicals are prohibitive.

Founded in 1999, AP Tech now serves over 200 water treatment partners who supply AP Tech’s solid chemistry technology and equipment to water treatment programs to over 20,000 customers in North America, Central America, South America, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand.
