Katie Lee Appointed Chief Executive Officer
West Chester, Ohio – AP Tech Group Inc., a leading manufacturer of solid chemistry technology for the water industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Lee as CEO. Lee has been a key member of AP Tech’s executive and leadership team since 2011 and will succeed James Heimert in this position. Heimert has worked in the water treatment industry for 45 years. He has led AP Tech for over 20 years, since founding the company in 1999, and will continue to work with AP Tech as consultant in research & development.
Commenting on Katie Lee’s appointment, outgoing CEO Jim Heimert stated, “Katie has distinguished herself as an inspiring and energetic employee whose leadership and honesty are among her greatest strengths. It is with my utmost confidence that I hand over the reins to such an outstanding person.”

Prior to working at AP Tech, Lee spent over fifteen years as an economic transfer pricing consultant to multinational companies, with a focus on work in the automotive, and oil and gas industries. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Miami University, is a Cincinnati native and resides in Mason with her husband and two daughters.
