March 19, 2014 – APTech Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement to acquire 21st Century Innovations, effective March 17, 2014. Terms of the purchase are not disclosed. Located in Downers Grove, IL, 21st Century Innovations is a long-standing manufacturer of solid water treatment products used to protect and maintain commercial and industrial cooling and heating systems. This acquisition of 21st Century Innovations further strengthens the leadership position that APTech Group commands in the solid-form water treatment product marketplace.

The transition of the 21st Century products into the APTech Group product line will take place over the next few months, with full production implemented at APTech Group’s manufacturing facility in Cincinnati by the end of 2014. Dennis Cerny, 21st Century’s president, will join APTech Group as a senior technical consultant, focusing on product improvements and new product development.
