December 18, 2012 – APTech Group, Inc., Cincinnati based manufacturer of solid form water treatment chemicals for cooling towers and boilers, is proud to announce the launch of APTech Solids Ltd. in the United Kingdom.
This sister company of APTech Group will actively recruit water treatment firms to become distributors of APTech Group’s products in the UK, Ireland and European countries.
APTech Solids Ltd. will be headquartered in Chester with product warehousing in Sandycroft, Deeside, Wales. Product for the UK operation will be supplied by the US manufacturing operation in Cincinnati, OH and the European factory in Prague, Czech Republic.
Additionally, Steve Crick has been hired as the first employee of APTech Solids Ltd. Steve will serve as the firm’s Managing Director. Steve had previously been employed by Waterchem Ltd./Green Compliance for the past 8 years, where he focused and excelled in sales, sales management and technical service for a wide range of water treatment customers.
